Artichokes from the Market
Dinner was in many courses so that, for two nights running, we have eaten the real thing at about 10pm.
Go out and do something you have no business doing. Like...head abroad with all your kids and stay for a month. Only cook, only speak the local language, wander in the walnut fields, read the newspaper, talk politics with the locals, learn that you need bags to carry your groceries out. We did. We are.
Glad to see my parents in there! Wonderful you have visitors!
ReplyDeleteI can tell you are all having a grand time. It was nice to see Margaret and Steve with you. Sending love from Mom/Grandma and Kathy
ReplyDeleteI salvaged the two shrimp heads from my lunch (they don't disguise their foods in other countries), cleaned them up and gave them as a gift to Mossy. Jason had indicated that M. would think they were toys.
ReplyDeleteMy efforts were much appreciated by this clever, little boy.
We really enjoyed our special time with the Peter-Macs. Molly is a chef extraordinaire. We were completely spoiled. And stuffed.
Viva La France.
